So you know, Im using BASS too, and the quality is great. It's a very good program and very easy to code with.

Good to know on the quality and yes it is much easier than FMOD could ever hope to be.

That GUI picture shown there was done in photoshop. I'm in C# .net 2008 and realizing that Winforms don't do PNG alpha the right way. They just render with the background of the form behind them instead of the control that is behind them. Grr.

Windows Presentation Framework does it right though. Looks like I have something new to learn.

    Only 650 lines of code.

Amazon's AWS was great for album art.

I'm considering putting up the source code I used to download album art. But before I do that, I'll need to make it prettier.
    Please do...

I code my frontend in C# as well, but I do not use BASS, I use fMOD EX.

Oh... btw: Thumbs up for Dave Mathews Band

I'm planning on using a Fusion Brain and just attaching it to the window buttons.

Props for having the patience to make fmod EX work in C#. I looked around a bit and said "way too much work" and moved on.

I'll see what I can do about getting the album art code together.

Actually it's fairly simple to use when you get going.
But then again, I have not been looking into BASS all that much... I just read an article that fMOD is superior regarding speed, DPS and sound quality, and based my dessission on using fMOD from there.

I did had some problems with multichanneling, but as usuall. The problem where somwhere between the keyboard and the chair. hehe.

Where did you find a working C# wrapper for FMOD?

Both 32bit and 64bit come with the API. I cannot remember the exact filepath, but shuld be found some where in the package. I'm at work at the moment, so I do not have them pressent here. Should be three of them, fmodex.cs, fmodex_dsp.cs and another one wich I cannot remember atm.

NB: www.fmod.org would be the correct site to download from and fmod ex 4.24.11 should be the current build. (stable)

(Do not use the designer, if you are looking for the wrappers).

Allthough, fmod is not fully C# supported, but with some knowledge about C/C++ it should be fairly easy to use!
And the forum there answers alot of questions, and if you infact need to post a question. It's mostly the developers who answer them
