Im planning on installing my old Compaq Armada e500 laptop into my car as a car pc, for the current time being its going a very basic install. Till i get my next paycheck and get my Lilliput TS, new amp and if need be a new deck. My current one doesnt have any RCA input or a working CD player, the cd player broke 2 months after having it, and they wouldnt replace it!The good part about it tho is it has a SD reader and USB input, thats what i use right now..
The laptop i plan installing into the glove compartment and running a line to my cig lighter(that i never use) to power it. Im currently designing a tray layout that will let the laptop slide in and out, but lock into place when i need it out and also able to rotate to face me just to set up the playlist. As you can tell, having the Lilliput will REALLY help me out alot!
