I love this color !!!![]()
Oohh.. Good to see you're working on it again.
How much do you want for the seat covers?
Cheers,

I love this color !!!![]()
I paid $198 for them, and would prob part with them for $120
Yea, so do I ! ! !
The smooth lines on the Fiero GT really show off the color as well, as the curves give it dark and lighter areas.
I finally got the Rims and tires mounted on the car, so for the first time since I have had the car, it is sitting on its own 4 feet
For Christmas I got new carpeting made especially for the Fiero in a nice charcoal gray. The test I did to see how I would like the black, and I am glad I did it, did not go so well. Just getting in the car a couple times, you can see foot prints and dirt as plain as day! It would be an absolute nightmare to try to keep clean!
I just ordered a couple things online. New high quality tint for the windows, that is all pre-cut for the windows! I never knew till I started googling that they even made tint that way! It will sure make it a lot easier to install!
Then I paid more than I ever thought I would for Valve caps for the tires. $25 shipped. They are chrome, with little ridges painted blue. They also require a small key on the keyring to take them off, so no worries about someone swiping the nice shiny new valve caps
Here is a pic of what they look like:
I got them HERE.
Well the engine is also in, as I mentioned, but now it looks like the transmission may be badSo looks like the engine will need to be lifted again to put the transmission from my original engine back in it. It only has 62,000 miles, and had no problems that I knew of.
I am hoping to get the carpeting in this week, then need to get the new material and such for the door panels, as well as new seat covers. It is going to cost changing the color I wanted to do it in, but I think it is going to be well worth it!
I promised some pictures, so here are a couple for now.
This is the old engine that was knocking really really bad:
This is the new crate engine with almost all new parts, claned up, painted and such ready to drop in the car:

Big motor !!!
In france our motors are smaller![]()
It really is not that big, it is a 2.8 Liter engine, small in comparison to many sports cars.

What is its power ?
Not that great in comparison to other larger engine cars, but with it being only a 2 seater, and made from fiberglass, it will get up and move pretty good

That colour is gonna look awesome!!
So you've got charcoal carpets going in? The black showed too much? Just getting info for when I get my carpets replaced.
I think I had my engine look about half that clean one day after doing a top end re-build.... only to then get all oily again as I didn't replace the one leaking seal.
That engine will get you down the line quite nicely. After 20 years I was able to get the same 1/4mile time as when it rolled off the line. The vortec would be a nice addition.... but changing the intake manifold should be done at that time.
Keep it going, you must have learned a lot from your MN trip.
