not much really, I received the Joycon module a couple of days ago.

Other than that, I am shopping for the final components:

    • HD TV, DAB FM receiver
    • keyboard
    • OBDII receiver (bluetooth connection)
    • wiring components
    • 2 new 6*9's parcel shelf speakers and amp

Looking into whether I will need a new sound card and how to do fiber glass around the LCD screen bezel (as I have no idea).

I will be starting the install around the 26th December and complete it before I return to work on Jan 9th 2012.
I am also changing the dash lights to white.

I should have the wiring diagram finished today and uploaded shortly.

    thanks for asking

    test bench is in place.
It is a bit daunting with all the wires and I am currently struggling to know where is what and who goes where.
But that is also due to my lack of not finishing my wiring diagram.

So I was meant to have it all completed by now, however I ran into extensive problems with the software side of things.
First, I was installing WinXp lite, worked well but centrafuse, road runner and another front end failed to launch. But launched fine on the desktop.
Then I found a win7 lite version called Tiny7. Great, but same issues with the front ends. I made sure I had flash, MS SQL, .NET etc... but no go.
So there went 4 days of trial and errors.

Which meant everything got pushed away.
At this moment, I will be installing a full version of Win7 and going from there. Ultimately in the future, I will swap to win8 mobile or Android.
Since I work 7 days/week, I can only work on it after work, if I can lol So I am hoping it will come into place in the next 2-3 weeks.

this picture is the current test bench with windows being installed.

update: work has been hectic and my social life is not helping either haha.

I am putting 1/2 hour here and there into it.
right now I am trying to get the interfecafe to work, installed Centrafuse and Road runner, but getting no bluetooth on either.
So still looking for an answer.
Also, buying an array microphone to get things voice activate properly.

What are the issues as such with the no bluetooth?
With centrafuse i always have issues with bluetooth and roadrunner i have yet to bother with.

Its been awhile since have used centrafuse and using own GUI atm, Most of the bluetooth issues i had tho were bluesoli that came with it.

the bluetooth plugin or option is not available on RR. I have raised this issue in the RR and I was reffered to the bluetooth.ini plugin etc..

So I will try it sometime next week, hoping it works.

I have the same issue with CF where it doesn't have bluetooth. Seems I will stick with RR for now as I also learnt about the VLC plugin.

trying to update bluesoleil and get the latest but seems you have to pay for it?
