Seems appropriate to put all this gear in a case. So i picked up a broken amp on ebay for $20. I should be able to fit the sheeva, fusion brain, wifi and bt in this case with hopefully some relays and other sensors. I want to also utilize the amp's existing connector jacks.

So your replacing a pc with a much smaller solution....that is now the size of a pc :p
I did the same thing only reversed the standoffs so that all you need is a bolt. Either way use something like JB Weld and they wont come off without a hammer.
this. Maybe intel will come out with an pico-itx atom that is only 1-5watts and has BT, wifi, and digital i/o.
