So I got a 300watt CrossFire amplifier wired up behind the seat with 2 8inch Rockford Fosgate subwoofers in a RF box... The amp is pulling all the speakers in the car right now, and the laptop will plug directly into the amp.
The laptop fits, but I need to figure out how to solder a switch to turn it on and off remotely.

just pop off the cover and you'll see 5 terminals under the button... four of them should be on either side (two on each side). connect one terminal of the button on one side to one on the other... You may want to double check over on the Eee User forums though...
