I'm not sure it is a good idea to remove the spare tire, imagine your tire crack when you are on a highway exit, I don't know in the US but in Canada if you are there for more then 10 minute you get towed.

P.S. It is good to ear about you again.
English is not my first language so if I say something weird just say it to me and i try to be clearer :) :)

Yea, its legal to remove your spare. Problem is I would have to call AAA if I get a flat.

No, I am now nice and healthy and depression free. Thanx for asking.

Yea, but the chances of getting a flat are so rare. The long distance drives are what worry me though. i really need the space though. The only thing I can think of is closing up the trunk and using that whole area then. The dogs would have to get in through the side door though. That may be hard because when the seats are in cargo mode, its very high for the dogs to jump up.

I guess the wait for a tow truck will have to be an inconvenience then, but its a very rare one.

Well I guess in miami you don't have the road we have here in montreal
this is one of the exit of highway 25 and it is a little better all over montreal, so for me having a flat is common.

That looks like half the roads in my town! No "exits" but plenty of potholes. It also doesn't help that the other half that were ok to begin with are torn up for "repairs" right now anyway...

Good to hear from you again, HiJack. I was worrying about you.
I have bad luck with vehicles...

Ewwwww, is it the snow that causes the road to get like that? Well for you flash, I guess its the heat, lol.

I am glad to be back, to bad its CF 3.5 not being what it should have been that had me come back. I have had the multi-zone system done for some time and I cant use it because 3.5 isn't what it should have been. I am back though, and now with a significant other that is also into cars and my psychotic goal for multi-zone, multi media domination.

It sucks about CF not being what you wanted it to be. I've pretty much dumped my TruckPC for my iPad. I rigged up a small server to control my XMPCR, and now I'm golden.

I'm glad you have a "significant other". They can help you when you get depressed.

As long as there are no more strings of death and car disasters, I think I will be OK. I get depressed like every 4 years it seems. Most likely because I just bottle things up.

The truck is about 2 more weeks in the shop. CI has started on fixes for the bugs in 3.5, some of which should make multi-zone useful.
