The website above highlights the benefits of gaming, but the technology will be available in non-gaming cards too.

It might keep the cost down and make things simpler.
Well thats to create a panoramic view, isnt it? I want to create 6 different environments. I think the only way to do this is to go with a full size desktop board. I can then get one with 3 PCI slots and add 2 PCI graphic cards. So that would give me the six ports I need. Thing is that if I go with the USB cards, then I run into bandwidth issues. I will go with a Dual Core setup for this one. Here is my list. Tell me what you think.

All though I really dont want to change anything at this point. I just dont want the system to crap up. What do you guys think?

If I remember correctly you can't use all 3 video output at the same time on a standart video card.

about the ATI Eyefinity I think it can provide up to 6 different display at once.
English is not my first language so if I say something weird just say it to me and i try to be clearer :) :)

I decided to stick with the USB to VGA. I just made sure to buy a really good one from DisplayLink. I ordered one for testing.

Gotcha. Eyefinity can do both panorama or drive X number of screens. Not sure how Centrafuse 3.2 will handle that, but I would imagine it should be no different since ATI drivers handle the screens.

Will the sound cards work in a similar way to the video cards? Meaning 6 separate devices that are USB to Audio?

Just a little thing about the eyefinity, the output is Display Port not VGA, DVI or HDMI and you can only use an active converter to convert them into a DVI port.

Yea very true. DisplayPort is what these cards use. However you no longer need an expensive active converter because new dongles are coming out:

Thats why i am just going to go with the USB cards. I dont want to have to buy anything different. I'll just warn them not all play video full screen, lol. All though it might not be that bad because the screen size and resolution is smaller. HD will never be run on them.

Yes..... In settings there where 6 soundcards, counting the onboard card. It said Realtek HD Audio, then under it had USB Headphone, USB Headphone 2, and so on.

I just got home and realized I am so retarded. The Mobo has a dual display output. It then also has a PCI slot, so thats 2 more. Then all I would need is 2 USB cards. So if anything, the rear 3rd row seats can get the USB cards since they will not get used as much.

Have you done the power calculations for each of the pci gfx cards? On my home desktop I had 3 gfx cards, one high end and two mid-end for other stuff. The gfx cards can pretty much do their own thing and with a quad core I don't see problems with your setup. your only consideration is space and power. Your usb gfx cards won't be doing intense work, right? 480mb/s for each usb gfx card .... but they are more expensive.

I'd go internal so long as I could account for space, power and cooling. I'd love to see the total list of your parts.

No I havent, I am only using one PCI card, and its not some high end card. In fact here is the link and picture to the one I bought.

Its actually a little better then the onboard chipset, so maybe i'll make this the card for the front. Then onboard for the center and 2 usb cards for the third row. Now the Quad Core is not the system that controls the rear PC. The rear PC, which is using all these graphic cards, is a Dual Core AMD Turion 64 X2, with 4GB of RAM. Even then though, its still more then powerful enough.

No intense work for the USB card, or any of the cards for that matter. Supposedly these USB cards can handle high res video, but I doubt I will ever use that in the card anyways. No 3D stuff like games will run on this system either.

The main system, which is the one with Quad Core, is the one that uses all the 3D stuff and heavy things. It only has 2 displays though. My driver display, and the second one is for rear screen shared media. It simply goes to a VGA splitter and all users share a set of controls. Its when they want to work independent of that, that they hit a keyboard command and it switches to the Dual Core system.

I will add though, something I hate about these motherboards is that the DVI port is a DVI-D port. In order to use them, I have to buy a converter to make digital to analog for screen. I was going to buy a 3rd USB graphic card, but the price of it is $76.00. For that amount of money, I can simply buy a second DVI-D to analog converter, infact for about $60.00 off ebay. This will make sure I have at least 4 good looking displays. All though I have read excellent reviews on the DisplayLink USB devices.

Here is the one I bought before and am buying again.
