Is in Your set-up any possibility to listen to something else instead of main channel? For example driver is listening to navigation voice commands in front speakers and others are listening to radio in their headphones?
I don't wanna be a product of my environment.
I want my environment to be product of me.

Yea, of course! Basically the setup has 3 soundcards. One for main audio, one for rear audio (headphones), and one for phone. Now I will say this, because CF is acting very glitchy, its doesnt work as it should. The hardware though is setup to do it.

    HiJack
I am sure this is probably in one of your many posts somewhere but I have to ask. How many degrees is the angle of those side view cameras of yours.
I am interested in doing something similar to your side mirror setup however I am not brave enough to completely remove my mirrors.
I've been worried about getting really wide angle cameras and seeing too much of the side of the car on my monitor.
    Yous seem just about right.

Just thought I'd mention that it's cool if you adjust that without seeing the side of the car, but even though I see the side of mine I still see 2 to 3 lanes over. Plus seeing some of the car helps give you some perspective.

Sorry for the late answer. My cameras, which are similar to the one hexxa has, sees about 2 to 3 lanes. If you do not want to replace your mirrors, then by the smaller mount cameras and mount them under the current mirrors. Or you can be brave like hexxa and build them into the car itself. Check out his log to see how he installed his.

Hexxaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. You have a link to your cameras? Because it would be easier design wise to use a camera that has a casing already.

Also about the angle, because my car is higher up, I prefer to see the sides because I can also see and align my truck to the curb. I will not tell you how bad ive scratched my rims from hitting the curb. My rims are matte black so you really see them. In fact I have to have them refinished. It also gives you perspective on where a car is when its coming up on you.

D@mn its been a while. Sorry guys but I have been very sick. Battling to get back in working order. As far as the HiJack is concerned, I have been running the PC this whole time. I am having issues with so many USB devices, but I think its because of the cheapy USB hubs I am using. So currently in the market for 3 reliable 7 port USB hubs. Because I decided to scrap the multizone hexacore idea, the PC area has a huge gap in it. I am thinking about pulling the whole rig out and redesigning it. Currently I am having issues getting to key components to trouble shoot and correct issues. So there is a design flaw. I have to correct that. Boy what a headache thats going to be. Waiting for the Raspberry Pi units to go into a steady mass production so I can finally get the six I need.

Other then that, all seems to be going smoothly. Im about to go over to the CF side and see if CF 4.2 has finally dropped. Most likely I will be disappointed because it hasnt, but I can hope, cant I?

On a side note, Im currently reusing the hexacore and building it into a six screen mega designing pc. My original hobby was web design, internet radio broadcasting and tv broadcasting. So once the Car PC is done, I want to get back into that.

I went with some hubs by a company called Inland. Had good reviews.

Wow, life seems to be getting to me. I seem to be spending less and less time on my Car PC. I plan to get back into it and hopefully get my hubby into to. I want to rethink and redo everything as far as the rear install. Right now its to bulky and I am running out space. I really do plan to install the Raspberry PI units when they become available. I have also decided to re-purpose the Inverter I have. I can not find a car adapter that runs at 2.5 amps, which is causing issues with the KVMP switches. If they are on their original adapter, I think they will stop acting glitchy.

Thats about it for now. More updates soon.
