fiberglass is way more sensitive to movement and impacts then other materials like plastic because it is so stiff, and fragile-- so even a loose shopping cart in a parking lot could mess it up...

i guess it all comes down to me wanting to do constant maintenence to keep it from looking destroyed. They dont make a urethane kit....Maybe I can coat the bumper with something first?

YEA but your a fabricator!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont know any of that.... You know what I notice though? On some kits that look like the one I want.... One will be 300.00 something dollars, but then a different name will be 600.00... Maybe the higher one is made of something else?

well melting isnt that hard :)
i have done it before with a soldering iron if thats the name
just watch out you dont put the temp to high otherwise it will melt and burn and it wont attach as good as you melt it @ the right temp

my bumpers are from PP + EPDM thats polypropyleen + some additive

and about the prices, well could be another material usually they write it on there website / catalog otherwise the designer wants more money dunno
problem is with fiberglass as said before, if you hit something and hit it pretty good its f&#$ed
thats why i never do it anymore , waste of time and money

No typo. I'm a giant. My 6 year old daughter is 4'4" already and they think she'll be 6'1". My 4 month old will probably be taller too.

I'll do research on the body kits. if worse comes to worse, ill go with the SP360 kit.

Actually I fit pretty comfortably in a mini. I sat in one as a joke and was surprised. No one could sit behind me but whatever. Lol.

OK, just an update. I ended up going with a Zotac MoBo for the rear system. Basically I didnt use the MSI because it had an Intel GPU. When I tried the USB graphics card on a system that had a Intel GPU, I got very bad results. I didnt want to risk that again so I instead opted for the Zotac, which has a nVidia 7050 chipset.

Well after back and forth with the INS company, they approved the repairs for my truck. I went down there, in nowhere land, and talked it over with the shop manager (Efrain, very nice guy). I got rid of the regular bumper ($324.00), headlights ($194.00 per side), and fog lights ($70.00). I then replaced it all with the items I pictured before.

I did decide to go ahead and change the paint color. The hood and grill will now be black. In the future I plan to have the roof painted black also, this is to match the Ridge Racer theme (Yes I am doing a RR theme again). I am also going to have the rims refinished. The Matt Black isn't working out. It stains very easily and in some areas the brake dust will not come off. The silver will stay the same.

As far the PC goes..... my MoBo should be here in 2 days. Once that comes I can put everything together. Only thing is that with out the truck I cant build the dual PC shelf system I have in mind.

On a side note, I plan to take my ticket to court. Turns out the lady that hit me, but the law says I hit her, has a suspended license. If she had not been driving and not driving illegally, I would have never hit her in the first place.

Got the rear mobo in today. It is very small. Basically its like a mini-itx with a PCI add on. This will most def save lots of space, infact now the PSUs can both go in the same cabin area. I will post pics when I get home.

Holy crap that sucker is huge. I was conisdering a heat sink like that once but glad I didnt buy. I wasnt sure how big they were based on the pics, but now I see haha.

Can't wait to check out all this body work when it's done. I bet that durango is gonna be one sexy beast!
