UGHHHH at how expensive AT&T is. With SPRINT, 3 lines, 1500 share minutes, unlimited mobile to mobile, unlimited 4G data, 5GB 3G data per phone, unlimited text, it comes out to $200.00. AT&T really does know how to rip off its customers! Its a shame they are buying T-Mobile too.....

PS: Im going to send off the motherboard this Friday. I am going to bundle it with the RAM, Processor, and HDD. So its pretty much a almost complete system.

AT&T is the only decent carrier around here though. Sprint straight up blows around here. Dropped calls, spotty data coverage, the whole bit. I'm doing this and streaming Pandora while my friend who's on Sprint is struggling to even get Twitter to load...

Also, cool on the MoBo and that other stuff. You have my address and stuff still, don't you?

Thank god I don't live where you live. I live for Sprint, lol. I love how Sprint no advertises themselves as the funnest 4G network in America. I guess they cant say fastest since Verizon and MetroPCS are the fastest.

I think I still have your number, I'll text you!

Just noticed that the time on the posts is an hour off for me. Meh. I'm supposed to be reading a book, but I'll do it later. I'll text you if I haven't heard from you by about 5pm my time. Is that cool?

Wow. Graduation is next week... It seems so surreal. I'll be out of the house in like 3 months...

Got a new windshield in the truck yesterday and finally sold the van about 2 weeks ago. Engine rebuild is next, then tires, exhaust, K&N air filter, and tint (in that order) if I have my way with things. I'm working on new CarPC plans too. Hopefully, this summer, things fall into place...

Thats not necessarily true. I will install one in my car as soon as I get one. I just need a job first and due to the economy and the fact I'm only 16 chances are slim. I've been all over this site for ideas. I'm looking at getting a 2000 or newer Toyota Mr2. It's a small car with very limited space I'm looking to get at least 2 5x7's and 2 5 1/2's with at least a 10" sub (prefferably a 15") while still making spaces such as the spare tire compartment and storage spaces behind the seats usable. It creates a challenge and challenges are fun and interesting. Tablets are too simple. Build a stand and mount it. Whats the fun in that? I don't need a tablet. Besides I've been a bit diappointed with the andoid OS and Apple is my worst enemy when it comes to any thing electronics. Anyways, the point is, car pcs will never die.

Well, not much going on right now, but here's what I've done lately:

    • Put the center vents back (removed touchscreen)
    • Dumped XMPCR for a SiriusXM Snap! radio. (plugs into cigarette lighter)
    • Installed dedicated power outlet for above in stock radio head area
    • Removed stock radio head and routed wires (semi-stealth) for the Snap!
    • Broke parking break release cable (replacing soon, I have the parts)
    • New tires
    • Fixed instrument cluster (again) and while I had the cluster out I cleaned it up and oiled all the odometer gears and changed the inside bulbs.

Next step is stripping the rims and polishing them so they look like they used to. After that, I need to get some minor engine work done (oil pan gasket, rings and the like). Thank God I found out I didn't have to do a complete rebuild (rebuild = $3500 vs. this minor work = ~$500). It helps to actually have a mechanic friend who will be honest with you.

I uploaded some pictures of the way the dash currently looks. The little box below the AC controller is a radar detector, the random stalk coming out of my console in front of the radio is my iPad holder (and yes, it's velcro).

(in before "what's with the stuffed animal") It was a gift from my girlfriend who told me to put it on my dash. Video coming next:
