Only thing you need to buy is anotehr RAM stick, unless 2GB is enough for you. The system is very fast but it had a strange CMOS issue which would reset the system clock causing the PC to act strange. I didnt bother with it because I wanted a more powerful system for dual zone (The Intel C2D with 6mb Cache).
If you wanna try to send it to me, we can try again. Just use USPS Priority instead of FedEx this time,

The EGR is the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve. It takes some of the exhaust gas and puts it in the combustion chamber to reduce temperatures and help reduce pinging and keep the timing adjusted properly. When it went out, I went from 18 MPG to 8, and driving that 100 miles every day, I can't afford that bad of mileage. Especially when I have a 50 gallon tank... Also, it's a small block Chevy 350 (V8) TBI (throttle body injection). The valve sits in/on the TBI, making it a PITA to get to. You almost have to take off the air cleaner to get to it.

Be that as it may, it still looks good. Good luck on the battery thing. Have you tried asking OldSpark about it?

Good luck getting it working. With enough time and patience I'm sure you'll figure it all out.

Me too (on both counts ). She's kicked it before, but I really don't know if she can this time. It started out as breast cancer and when it came back, it latched on to everything it could...

Damn, I'm behind on this thing... My aunt passed away last week and the funeral is in Dallas tomorrow at 10am (Central time) and I'm not gonna be back home from Denver until almost 11pm (Mountain time). (I still have to go home and repack...) Looks like I'll be driving all night and most of tomorrow morning. (insert rage guy FFFFFUUUUU picture here)

On a more positive note, I got a new stereo for the truck since my current one has to be reset every couple of weeks and it likes to eat my CDs. (It ate my Cee-Lo Green CD!) ****ed me off. So it's gonna be gone the first chance I get to put this new one in. I just need a new adapter harness and I'll be in business.

Also, I replaced the EGR valve, but the same code for the light is coming back. I even reset the ECU thinking it was just popping back up cause it was stored. Still trying to figure that one out... *sigh I guess I'll just have to give in and put it in the shop cause I still gotta get ready to move to college

I'm going to try to install the new radio today. Hopefully I can get the harness and break away from the house for about an hour and a half...

I got the new radio installed. I can't take any pictures because the truck is currently in the shop. $210-ish later I should have it back tomorrow. Gaskets and valves needed to be replaced. So hopefully after that everything will run like it should. Then I can resume packing for college and resume my sketches of my redesign. I haven't come up with anything I like yet. When I do, I'll post a pic.
