No one wants the van. It has the same engine and all as the truck. I'm parting it out. I'm taking my component speakers and my K&N Air Filter out of the van and putting them in the truck.

Also, I have a small web design job now. I'm making $20/hr at about 2-3 hours at a time (on the weekends). I just ordered a 12" subwoofer box for my truck (fits under the backseat next to the jack box) for $70. It should be here Thursday. I just need to sell my dual 12' box and my extra 12" sub.

I am also trying to take up DJ'ing. I have MixMeister Fusion on my Mac Mini and I am (hopefully) gonna DJ a birthday party this Saturday.

AHHHHHH, DJ'ing. I remember those days. Believe it or not you have to have a lot of patience, not to mention rythm. I gave it up because I have a phobia of being around loud people and because my patience isnt that good. I also gained an intrest in Broadcasting instead. Its much more technical and fun. Maybe when my Car PC setup is done I will relaunch MusiqHead.com, then you can guest DJ on there.

When i went on the site with my Touch Pro, it doesn't show the images, I don't know why. I can see images with all other forums except this one. What is that? Your building something that I have no clue what it is. First off, I'd have to say its way to blocky. When using MDF its so easy to get sleek corners, especially if you use the technique I use. Now are you going to fiberglass or wrap? If you wrap then my tech will work, but fiberglass I'm not sure.

It's only blocky there because I didn't want to fight with SketchUp to get curves... I'm thinking that I'll try to have Saul build this for me since he is hella better with MDF than I am...

My subwoofer box should be in sometime tomorrow. I would try to install it Saturday, but it's going to be a full day for me. I have my college prep classes from 7AM - 2PM, then I have a Web design thing at 3PM, then I have a party to DJ at 7PM... I still need to try to get a system for that party... I may have to break down and ask Saul...

So Saul just told me he's hella busy and that he doesn't have a system here. "It's all back home."

OK, that's cool. I'll look somewhere else; no problem. And I'll either do the MDF by myself, or have someone else do it.

The MDF is so easyyyyyyyyyyyy. Its easier then fiberglassing and what not. Where you may run into issues is the wrapping. That I did professionally, I couldnt do it at all. If I can do it, then you have to be able to do it. All you need is MDF, a JigSaw, Ruler, measurements and MDF screws.

Save up and buy one, your car pc isn't going to run away if you take your time. They are like $40.00 - $50.00 dollars. Now me, because I like precision and no mess, I bought a fancy one that has a laser so you can follow lines. Also has a part that you can attach your vacuum cleaner hose to suck up all the dust while cutting, that one ran about $95 bucks? Power tools are always a good investment because there are lots of uses for them. My Dremel I use all the time, the jigsaw I use all the time. Drills I use so much, I go through about 3 a year.

So, I don't get to DJ. Turns out they only wanted me because the person they had previously hired had disappeared. But, he called them yesterday, so when I called them, they told me they didn't need me. Oh, well. More time to unwind.

My subwoofer box came in today. I got everything installed and working, but Murphy's Law kicked in and I broke a power connector. Also, I lost a pair of pliers somewhere... I gotta find those or Mom will have my butt... I also need to find/make a better grounding point because the one I used (to test it) is flaky. Those are all events for another day, though.

I got the sub amp installed and fixed. I may have to redo to the circuit breaker, but it works! I made a couple new friends on the block. They were sitting on their porch, 40s in hand and they heard my music and came and said hi.
