to look good?! who will see that?
that heater pipe it's in your way? which connector ha interference issues?
I have seen somebody who even removed the soldered connectors off of the motherboard and soldered the wires to the motherboard directly.
I haven't tested it yet if it would fit, but to be sure I will make all of my connections right angled.
my biggest connector is the serial one for the hd adapter, but they sell right angle adapter for that too.
I will make my cable for the monitor and I will use a solder on vga connector which is right angle.
I need to get some right angle usb cables or adapters and then I don't have anything sticking out to much.

Nice! Shame that didn't work out building it into the radio case, that would have made for a nice clean install.
I have a 98 S70 GLT also that hopefully I'll get to installing a carpc soon in.

I like the glovebox idea, that's where I was figuring I'd probably mount mine. Psh, it's not like I have any gloves anyway!

The radio case idea probably would have worked if i went with a Pico-itx mobo or nano-itx but i like having more power and the glove box just holds a bunch of garbage anyways.

no it would not fit, i would have to get a smaller motherboard that's why you cant find a double din case that holds a mini itx mobo.

I like the glovebox idea anyway, you could put lighting accents in, some plexiglass and makes for easy access and helps you keep a clean glovebox.
