Sorry about the bad luck.

I ordered the leds from china. 7' of red 1' of white. They are completely inclosed in silicon to make them waterproof. I had to custom modify them to the correct size needed for each position.
I am getting a rollpan which I ordered from Grants Customs put in and the leds installed to look like the rollpan on the "BLACK" truck. My truck is red and got the least worries of the accident. I consider it a blessing because I got my rollpan for next to nothing.

Bump for updates in post #4. Also, I got my truck back w/ the new roll pan. Finishing up the wiring, but I love it so far.

A little more progress on my bezel. Basicly got the Dynatron on and rough sanded. I did a quick test fit also. Next I will put the Bondo type filler on and smooth out the rough spots. I have a little trouble gettin the corners, but it will work out in the end.

Had some time today to work on my bezel. I have much respect to those who do this for a living. The 3M filler nor the Dynatron was hard to work with. It was mainly my inexperience that made things difficult. I talked to my neighbor who is a body-man; and his tips made things alot easier.

The pic shows my progress after two coats of 3M. I still need maybe one more before I can prime and paint. The corners gave me the most trouble.

I think I can finish it Monday.

First coat of paint. Gotta sand it and paint again. Don't have much ofa steady hand (for sanding, painting, or pictures) that's why it's taking so long. But, seeing a light at the end of this tunnel.

looks pretty good so far! a couple little tweaks here and there, and i think it'll look perfect!

just take you time, and don't rush it.

it's ok if the projects take forever-- my custom tail lights have been 'in progress' for almost a year now...

Well I thought I was going to show that I had completed my bezel so far and show the PixelQi mounted. But while I was mocking and securing it to my bezel, I dropped it. ARRRRRRRGH!!!!

Now I need a 10" Transflective, Multi-Touch, DVI, LCD.

Oh well. Its only money. Enjoy the pics while I find some tissue.
