Didn't know that, maybe I'm just used to doing too many older machines as 10gb stood out in my mind or it was installed on one big large drive. Always stumps me how customers never wanted to seperate their data but to each their own I guess...Quote:
if you use win7 you will need at least a 15gb partition. win7 itself-- unslimmed, is around 12gb after installation...(my company used to setup xp using 10gb partitions, and attempted to do the same with win7-- it didn't work out..)
I spent the day kind of thinking on what to do. I am probably going to scour ebay a little closer to when I have the funds for a sata 2.5". I don't know if I trust ebay for a mobo/cpu if they even have it. Those 2 items I would most likely prefer new. Ram is cheap enough to buy new, even locally it's very cheap. Touchscreen I'll probably get off ebay as well, at least it might help save a little.
The earlier mobo/cpu I linked shows a sempron box for the picture, which last I knew sempron's were not dual core. Sent them an email asking if it truly comes with a 3.0ghz dual core, let's hope it does.
Soundman, I checked out the 9300 geforce that you said you run, I think that thing is overkill for what I'll need, but I was definately impressed on it's specs for the price and size of the thing :)
P.S. Gotta love freezing rain, huge snowstorm/ice storm about to hit my area...
