Soundman thank you for the switch slash camera slash reverse light slash emergency off power switch diagram. It all works as far as I can make it work inside the house. So stoked that we pulled this off.

Screen is ready for install, things are coming together... The buttons you see there, im waiting for RCJOYCON USB to come in, gonna test it with the test board that comes with it, then make a 21 button board to support keystrokes in RideRunner, or use Skiltz method with Fusion Brain, which ever gets done first.

12 volt 6 port USB + 1 10/100 RJ45 hub which can be hooked up to accessory line and have a variable timed shut down similar to an Opus. Got my OBDII reader that supports sleep mode.

The Nav Buttons now working with RCJoyCon, some buttons repeat a function but its all good. Joystick even works! Need to tidy up the wiring, the JoyCon was hooked up with aligator clips for testing. What else is cool about this device is you no external power is needed. Pre wired for illumination at night

The wire on the top of the shelf is the heater switch and camera ready to install.

    Wall-e is my supervisor.

Final order is sound deadener, sometimes I want to order it, other times I think its not worth it. Going to post in the audio section to get opinions.

Very nice work. I like the idea of the heater button as a power switch and that you were able to get the factory nav buttons to work with the 'puter.

sound deadening is always a tough area to cover..

being that you have HAT speakers, i imagine that you have spent some time on car audio forums, as that isn't a brand that most people know, so i am sure you have done much of your research on what is really needed..

so as such, i think that proper sound deading is a great next-step in improving the quality of audio, the cost of course is almost always the biggest factor though.

i am sure you know already that there is really 2 reasons to use sound deading. to stop noise from entering the cabin, and to reduce panel vibration from speaker movement.

with being in a situation where you are not completely sure that covering the entire car is required, i would recommend to think about just deading the doors, or just the small area around the drivers themselves. while both would be 'cheaper'(still expensive) then doing the entire car, either should help reduce driver/panel vibrations, and should help with the overall sound of the driver because the panel will be a little stiffer.

though this wouldn't cut down on road noise at all-- for that, you would really need to cover the floor of the car-- and that isn't cheap..

Thanks Soundman, yeah I have spent a ton of time researching. Ill order some B-Quiet Ulitmate. Thanks DNA59, can hardly wait to get this installed!

My only issue is that I am going to race the car in autocross S1 class (stock).... the added weight, but to hell with it want to do the install right.

i still haven't done my own car yet, but i have slowly become a fan of Second Skin Audio products. primarily for ANT's major contributions to DIYmobileaudio.com. many of the threads, and info i have seen him comment on is pretty straight forward and honest, so i would rather pay more for that stance(similar to chris/mo-co-so here), then to deal with a potentially worse product. and the fact that whenever i try to research anything related to my audio system, i usually end up over there.. so similar to mp3cars forum and store, second skin helps support the forums that have helped me so much...
