Well it has served me well! To be honest, I'm impressed it's still alive! :)
Been in the car for about 2 years, and the mobo has been thrown around a bunch while out of it's shell.

It's NOT a Nano itx, unfortunately. That would have made it so much easier to upgrade down the line. It's only a P4 2,0 Ghz, and a C2D would be nice. I actually wrote Xenarc to hear what it was as there is no numbers or anything on the pcb. They only told me it's a generic board. No manufacturer, and the form-factor is way out of the way of any standard.

I completely agree, but unfortunately there are people in this world who believe stealing other peoples stuff is a great idea, and for that reason it's hidden! :)

i know this thread is a year old but i have only just started to be interested in mp3car again after too many years. i have to agree with everyone. this is one of the best if not the best custom case for a car i have seen.
I have a V40 2002 model and found this while researching other builds for inspiration.

WOOOOOW!! I LOVE it. Coolest car-pc project I'v seen in a LONG time. This is da bomb. Thanks for sharing this amazing project...Keep up the cool work...
