Myabe it's me, but I'm not seeing it for 279.00, I'm only seeing 399.99 plus shipping. And at that price, you might as well pay the extra hundred and get the brand new one. But I guess I'm not seeing what you are maybe.

Deal lasted 54min, you were too slow ;-). Tigre direct does that for publicity purposes. They get say 1k units and sell the first 200 to create buzz. AFAIK 399 is the regular refurb price, which is not a great deal at all for me.

Interesting thread. Can't wait to see how this will look in your civic. I have the Galaxy 7" and have been very happy with it. I like that dock they have for the 10".

Well the converter shipped yesterday! Should be here by the weekend, I hope! Still nothing back from the people I bought the Media tab from. This is starting to **** me off and I'm not sure what to do about it. I don't want to just eat the 32.00. I'll figure something out. I ordered this thing like 3 weeks ago and it said it shipped 2 days later. What are they doing, sending it by bike messenger from tennessee!?!

3 weeks? I'd be calling my CC company and asking for a refund.

BTW, Tiger Direct sent me an email reneging the deal. Offered me $400 something instead, but I can find it for $399 at Amazon. Tiger Direct, what a scam.

That's gonna happen tomorrow. I can't believe this. I've sent them 3 emails, called them which you can't get a person they direct you to their website "contact us" which is email support. I'm sick of it. A-holes! I'm good with the docking station I have now anyway! I could use the money back though. Things are tight till those screens sell! Oh well! Goodnight!

Ok so after the 4th email, two phone calls to two different numbers that both refer me to their website for the "contact us" tab and sending an email, I've filed the dispute with my bank. I still have no product and I'm done trying. Might take up to 90 days to get it refunded, but I don't care at this point. If i get the product I'll ship it back to them and write a big note on there, you're a terrible company and I don't want your product, kiss my @$$. Maybe not as nice!

Anyway, no real update as of yet. I'm still waiting for my converter. Hopefully I'll see that today or tomorrow. Soon though. Screens still have not sold, surprisingly, so I'm just playing the waiting game now.

It's not bad in size. Pretty small really. I guess it's about the same size as the other converter I just used. Here it's next to my car key for size reference.


So there it is. I can't wait to get home and get it plugged in and see what happens. Problem is, I don't have my video monitors just yet, so I'm probably going to have to take it into my bedroom and use that monitor. That's gonna be a pain in the *** to deal with. Oh well, in the name of audio right! I do still need two more HDMI cables now. I'll have to order those when money comes in. Right now it's just not there so i can't just go ordering other gear. Maybe in a couple weeks. I may hook it up in the garage first, where it sits, and see if I can get some audio without having to hook the monitor up. Keep your fingers crossed! More later when I can!
