I'll have to try that app out. PlayerPro has a EQ plug-in that pretty nice but is limited on gesture control. I think it will only fwd to next track or previous track. Nice Avatar by the way! I had planned on lifting my Jeep up...until I got over here that is. It'll have to wait. It barely fits in the garage.

If I get my Tab mounted that will be all she wrote for my Jeep. Ultimate driving machine esp when I get offroad maps installed and using My Tracks will make the experience complete.

I use both permanent and switched +12v for powering the amplifier, so it turns on when car is on (actually it turns on when the key is in 'on' position, even with car off).
I placed the amplifier at passenger's feet, with a small wood plate covered with decorative adhesive plastic. The passenger's mat will cover almost all the amplifier and it will not be visible.

Papinist, I'm still trying to figure out how you hooked up your speakers in this build to see if it's beneficial to my own. Is this how your sound actually works, starting from the amp.

Amp > Speaker wire > purchased harness > factory harness > factory speaker wire > speakers

The image above sort of hides what's going on there with the harness connections.

larue05, sorry for replying only now but I didn't see the notification of new posts.

The actual audio configuration is: tablet -> shielded audio cable (3.5" jack <-> 2x RCA) -> AMP and then AMP -> black/red speaker wires (the ones you see on the right in the picture) -> purchased harness -> factory harness -> factory speaker wire -> speakers as you said.
I removed all the ground loop isolators I bought because they didn't work as I want.. I left only the power supplly filters on +12v permanent and +12v switched, but I am sure that even without that I will have no noise at the moment

I am looking for a stereo to replace the one that came with my 147 and this is a very good option.
