The arduino acts like a bluetooth mouse. It reads the touches in the touchscreen and sends the data to the phone via bluetooth like a mouse.
The phone doesnt need an app, it simply sees a bluetooth mouse and connects to it.
Been busy last week installing a keyless entry and ignition system for my car, so no progress with the carputer.
I will resume work this week.
The one from http://www.advancedkeys.com/
works great.
That's interesting. I wish NFC would catch on more. I would love to have my phone unlock my car and start it.

I have that exact same keyless system. I have the keyless with push start button.
