ok so the last time i did this i just used a bezzle i got for $50, ended up mucking up the first one and getting another one. i hacked it all up. and made it all perdy...

and what happened was when it was like this..


and i was working on it on the desk,


it ended up cracking when i installed it... looked all smooth and perfect.


but if you look closely, its cracked along the bottom of the screen, berween that and the button.




this happened becasue the bezle warped as i was working on it....

Wel, its not going to happen again! thats for damm sure!

Why? becasue i Muahahhaha ahhhhh Bought hahaha ahhhahhaha A WHOLE DASH!



FYI, its going into the same car, my bother was good enough to take my car when i got the 09 civic. so when He took over the payment, he got everything with it!, that incuded the carputer.
this is what the stock dash looks like, un-modded un-raped.

Are those 12" screens the ones with 16:9 aspect ratio or 4:3?
I clicked on the links you graciously provided but I can't find any 12" screens in that ebay store at this moment

If possible can you post the ebay link to the iteem you purchased?
I am planning to move my screen into the dash and a screen with 16:9 aspect ratio will be perfect for me.

Spec looks great, one thing I've always wondered... What psu can you use on such a powerful system?

they might have run out but they are 16.9, try emailing them. damm nice people! they where the only ones willing to offer a solution to my needs. i was looking for a way of using laptop screens, i needed lvds controller boards, they set me up with test boards, programmers, 10-15-20 and even 40 pin lvds cables!, first i found them thru alibada, but then incidentally i bought the screens from them a year later...



their touch pannels are top knotch too!

im also planning on implementing the fusion brain...IN A BIG WAY... beats the hell out of a few other relay systems... im currently looking for someone to help me do some light programming.

I confused PSU with CPU etc.

That really spoils my intent.
Luckily I just shaved so the egg is licking off real easy.
