Well, that didn't work.
I know it is timing, just gotta slug away at it.
Time to hook the scope back up and take pictures.
SUCESS!
What a hassle.
The board solved the problem and now all I have to do is tweak it a bit.
Now I can take the OEM data and display it on a remote or upgraded display.
The carputer lives!
Update:
Tweaks worked and now the picture is as good or better then the OEM.
Waiting for glue to cure on new display mounted to OEM display mount.
It is looking like I can pull the entire OEM display as I don't need any of the circuitry.
Here are some screen shots of the system being tested.
OEM data is perfect (adjusted linearity), back up camera, computer data.
The Mac fits, but there is no clearance for the plugins.
I am remounting it behind the armrest.
I thought I was being so clever to.
I looked at a rt angle DVI connector just to get rid of the adapter.
Anyway, I can elevate the Mini Mac more then enough for cable clearance so one headache solved.
Also, putting it behind the armrest gives me a place to stuff the power adapter and a connection for it.
Things are looking up.
