It is but I think they should have taken it a bit further. The bluetooth only works with A2DP and HFP. So if you have your phone paired music will work through it but not phone calls. But that's ok because I have an idea for that later. I also found that my tablet (nexus 7) can't seem to see the amp so I cannot use bluetooth with my tablet. Again that is not a problem because the other cool thing is that is has RCA input.

    Nexus 7 Mounted

I was just too anxious. When the shop installed my amp I requested for them to run the RCA cable to the front so I can connect to the tablet when ready. I had to get an adapter to go from RCA to Jack which plugs into the tablet. Anywho..during my lunch today I did a test fit and found that I needed to make a minor mod to the mount to secure the tab a bit more. I installed the tablet and have it connected from the jack to RCA which is connected to the amp.

This was how I spent my lunch time:

This is it installed. I will share some other pics later. I plan to create a youtube video to describe my install a bit.

This project is not complete yet. I am getting an accessory battery installed (Optima Yellow Top) along with my 12v USB hub. That is what I will be my source for charging the tablet and any other device with USB. I also have a mifi which works awesome with the tablet from my testing. I also have plans to install an aftermarket solution for handsfree since I will no longer have that feature. My factory radio had that.

    Stay tuned for more..
