New Blue Dome/Map LED's
I installed my Dome and map LED's. I'm glad I got that back like I had in my last car.
This is the little factory LED board
Factory LED removed.
These are the new LED's installed.
Tomorrow I should be getting my LED switchback strips for underneath my car.
You're probably wondering when I'm going to get to the good stuff..slowly but surely. I need get my cameras then tint my windows....then the good stuff.
Looks pretty cool. I'm looking forward to the vinyl wrap (I bet you are too).
Just an idea with your internal lights, have you thought about getting some RGB (Red, Green & Blue) LED's, and hooking them through an arduino. It's be pretty easy to do, and you could still control them through the normal switches. And you could make it automatically cycle through the different colours, or fade on and off when you get in and out of the car?
Just a thought, still looks cool.
Yep. I cant wait. But not interested in multicolor lighting.

It seems like 50 yrs since I updated my worklog. The truth is I was still unsure on what or how I wanted to do my install this time. I finally decided that I will continue to use the tablet design. With that said there are no tablets currently that I am interested in. I stumbled across a list of US releases for this year. I am curious about the new Samsung lines due out supposedly in September. My current tablet is due for an upgrade so I will not be re-installing that. Now regarding the Mimics module I still have use for that stay tuned for more details on that.
Here is the list I stumbled across: http://tabletmonkeys.com/new-tablets/
Wow! I feel like it's been ages since my last post..I think it was. Any case, I am starting to lean towards the Nexus 7 tablet w/LTE. I've been hearing good links about the Nexus tablet and until recently I was not able to use it on Verizon. I was waiting until the end of the month to see if the new Galaxy tab is released on Verizon but after comparing specs I think I will like the Nexus better. Stay tuned..
Aparently there is drama around Verizon supporting Nexus 7 tablet... blah blah. I have a workaround for that but I will wait a while to see how this turns out.
If anyone is curious check out the posts in this forum:
fricken verizon, i love that i have service nearly everywhere, but it sucks we are always getting screwed about getting good devices since most of them start out GSM only. unrelated - i'm excited to see the new Moto X phone coming out, i thought Motorola might be dying off before that - hope they release a new tablet before long too, otherwise i might switch to Samsung too when it's time to upgrade my install.
