Ok... some updates about the car.
There was a problem. The cams weren't set up properly. The mechanic fixed that by adjusting them

I think that the exhaust ended up being trapped in the engine after the cycle was over

He also changed my rear brakes. No more squeeking.

The car feels so much more lively. Faster gear shifts. No more bogging down when flooring it.

About gas mileage: I've been readlining it a lot lately, and it seems that the gas needle hasn't been so fast to jump down

This car ain't cheap to run! I just spend $47 filling her up with 91 octane. 96 octane for you europeans

I can now go up my friend's hill at 40 in second gear... and this isn't one of those pussy hills. Its one were you slide down a lot when you move your foot from the brakes to the gas pedal, even if you have an automatic

Damn... I should add more pics of my car. The frotn looks much different without the gold

Updates...
Went to Uncle's house yesturday. Didn't have a camera. But the Xenarc housing looks like it came out of the factory! Too bad the paint didn't match on it though, and it scraped off when I touched it with my nail

So, we got some new paint, but Pep Boys didn't have glossy paint, so only the outer trip can be painted

Oh come on Boris, your uncle is working on your dash for almost a year now, and when he finally finishes it, you stick your nails in it and ruin it! That's not nice Boris, cut those nails!!!

Well, he's only been working on it for 6 months. Just 6 months

Its not that my nails are long, its that they are sharp beucase I sometimes bite them when doing tests

but really, the paint was the problme, it was not meant for those surfaces. I'm hoping that the vynil paint will do much better.
