Why I said in 3 years: my cousin was in an accident twice in like 4 years. They didn't total the car because it was less than a year old. On an old car with a low resale value, they probaby would have totalled it.

A "yellow top" is a nick name for the top-of-the-line Optima SLA (that has a yellow top) . SLA = Sealed Lead-Acid. Optimas are the best known SLAs, but you can get SLAs from other mfgs for a lot cheaper.

us europeans with the gasprices you have over there..

I live in Sweden, just filled up the tank last friday..
With some quick math (and a online currency calculator )
I found out that I pay $1.4962 per LITRE!
Just for you who doesn't know: 1 gallon = 3.8 litres..
Which means that I would be paying $5.68556 per gallon

While you're spending 47/20 = ~$2.35/gallon
