One of the guys on clublexus got a SC300 5-speed from Sand Diego and drove it to Boston. Then from there he drove back to go to college in Cali and someone ended up rear ending him and totalling the car. Anyway, the car is a gas hog! Great start on the project. I wish I could get my hands on an SC400 (Or 300). They're just way too expensive for me to keep gassed up. Damn Premium. Damn San DIego expensive gas prices.

Damn. I mean per tank. The gas tank is 20 galons, likes to eat 91octane fuel, and sits wedged between the runk and the rear seat giving me some of the smallest trunkspace ever******* Wow !
Just out of curiosity, I wouldn't kill the car with regular unleaded, right? I just wouldn't get the right kind of performance, right?

- Finished doing the main climate control.
- Need to cut and paint part of climate control.
- Took pics of the cupholder my uncle fixed
- Bought lots of stuff for the painting and molding
- The paint peels when you scratch it
- Bondoed top of climate control... sucess
- Need new paint!
- Xenarc case is weird.
- Xecarc case doesn't fit into the dash. We had to cut lots of the mounting points. I hope the LCD fits!
If you do it once a month by accident, then no. Your car's PCM will retard the timing accordingly to prevent detonation. But you will lose mpg and performance plus if you keep doing it on a daily basis you risk ruining your engine ahead of time. Never put different gas in a car that was not designed for it.

If you primered it before you painted..... it shouldent scratch off. Good luck with that.

I did that. The primer also scratches off
We tried like 7 times to paint it. Pratically all combinations, and it still scratched off
We even washed it with peroxide, and still same result.
