Working on it. Grandpa sodered the other SMD part. Looks like the SMD part that I sodered to the board wasn't working fully, so it was giving me and unstable voltage and causing the A/D converter to jump between values. Hopefully the one the company he works for fixed this problem when they sodered in a replacement.

And yes, it should work with the LS400 when it comes out - in a while.

What are You talking about, looks like Your bezel is going on top of the center console cause it is rounded.
I had SC400 before I got LS400. What I meant is: are You planning on relocating the ac controller or You are just trying to give me some **** here...

The AC is going to be behind the screen without its faceplate. Connected to the faceplate will be the relay controller that my grandpa and I are designing. The computer will be controlling the AC, freeing up rooom on the bottom for the cd rom.

    Pics of relay controller.

Got, ya, that makes sense. It should be preety nice when done.
Was Your original AC controller LCD working fine or was it blacked out?
I replaced mine with new one. Old one was busted. Completely blacked out not readable. Happens to most first generation LS's and SC's
    Just off the topic though...

Yup, my LCD was bleeding. With the LS you don't have to replace the entire unit because the actual LCD displays are available. Not so with the SC. Plus I don't have room for it to be visible, and it will be awesome when I can control it with voice.

I T-boned a Toyota T100 today. Not my fault, as I was on the main street, and the guy was attempting to do a left turn from a little side street.
Damage: front. But the transmission shifter does not engage park properly, and it snaps out of drive when I brake hard.

    Pics...

As far as progress on the carputer b4 this ****: well.... the case was almost mounted in the trunk. The CD changer case was relocated towards the bottom and properly secured.

damn that truck raped your car.

doesnt look like its too bad, you will need new quarter panels and bumper, obviously.

did it pop air bags? radiator? anything like that? or is it just purly body panels?

looks like your hood is bent too, but i dont have a good ref. point.

that totally sucks man. didnt look like you hit him too hard tho, how fast were you going?

sorry bout your car. hope it gets repaired. did he have insurance?

Yeh.... that's what happens when your govenrment mandates 5mph crumple bumpers

What I was trying to get a picture of was the metal bar that was bent. It does not look like the radiator was damaged, but I can't open the hood. Its jammed. Airbags did not pop. The hood has scratches on it, but I think what moved whas both of the side panels. Although I could be wrong.
What has me worried is that the transmission won't shift into park and it pop out of drive.

I was going around 35... which is the normal speed, as I was just getting out of the gas station. I saw him when he was in the other lane, but he decided to go infront of me. I did brake, and I guess that did slow my speed down, but apprentatly not by much. The first thing to go was my gryphon emblem. So now the peices of the gryphon emblem and my licence plate are lying in the middle of pico

The guy had insurance. I got all his info. Already reported it to my insurance
