Are you going to mold the screen frame into the dash?
Oh, btw, are there any chances you'll finish this year...?![]()
No. I'm going to preserve the factory "borders". So no molding. It will like like a 1mm gap on both sides, which preserves the stock look. Remember, I'm going for the stock look hereOriginally Posted by Cris
I'll probably end up finishing it by the end of this year. In the summer, the project is going into overdrive. My uncle should be done fabricating the dash though hopefully by the 27th![]()
At least will paint the thing black, right?

Today's updates: got the AC fully working by grabbing the buttons. The ash tray has also been fixed and cleaned
For some reason, lots of the parts were really oily in parts that weren't visible, like behind the flip out cupholder![]()
I like the look of that...but when I mounted mine that way, I got a lot of glare, that's why my 2nd version has the screen pushed forward to be flat perpendicular to the floor of the car...
keep up with the great work, my 3rd installation will be going into overdrive and should be done the end of summer...adding a slot load in there...

Hope I don't get glare. Don't most cars have their screen at the same angleOriginally Posted by ACleanSC4

Took apart the AC and Knobs today. I have a 90% complete wireing diagram for them. I couldn't get the wireing for the AC knob, its weird because it "clicks". Got the proper pins for all of the LEDs and buttons. I won't have a use for the front anymore
I'll post the diagrams if requested![]()
