Very sllick install. After reading all the posts, I realized some fo my mistakes before I made them (i.e. using 1/4" ply instead of MDF just save $$). Thanks for doing such a great job on keeping us posted. As for the color, the trim in a car should contrast the base color of the interior (if your interior is dark gray cloth like mine, trim should be silver or the like). The edging (area around the trim) should be a complimenting color (if interior is dark gray, trim is silver, edging should be black). I did this on my car and I like the look. There is just enough black inside to match the black exterior and also the silver brings out all the parts that you fabricated. Hope some of this helps.
