    2002 Kia Majentis(Optima) 2.5 Automatic

Finaly, I got myself wrighting this...

    INTRO:
    Ok, this is me:

I'm a student at moscow Physics and technican Univercity.
    This is my car:

Well, i must noatice the idea loomed ages ago. At first it was an HP Ipaq with GPS soft. It was flying all over the car which made it prety useless. Then The miracle happened, our restaurant was sold off and i managed to get my hands on 3 POS terminals.

And all sorts of other stuff.

    Idea:

Then the steady research started. I came up with idea that i should use the Inverter->UPS->PSU setup. Some peole on this forum told me it would not work, but my test proved them wrong. Having smart ups also helped.
So in the end it worked out to the following setup:
    • 2x VIA C3 900Mhz
    • 512/256MB SDRAM
    • 2x 160GB Hitachi SATA + 2GB IDE/CF Card
    • 3x 12" EloTouch
    • Phidget Interface Controller 8/8/8 (yet to come)
    • ODBII Controller (yet to come)
    • 320W Inverter SmartUPS 1000VA
    • WinXP CentraFuse

Finding this thread Optima also helped since he was the only one on this board who's done it whith the same car.

    SETUP:

During the research i accidentally drained my battery and when i tryed to jumpstart is it killed my head unit. Not a big loss since it was leaving my car anyway, but i could have sold it. So it became a mount for the screen. Can't see much on this pic thought.

here's what it looks like with pannel on and windows running:

Sorry for low rez(i forgot my camera), Will Get some better ones soon.

I'm running Media Engine at the moment since i was playing around with it while it was all on the floor. Didn't have time to put Centrafuse on it.

Unfortunately the pc takes all back seat at the moment and no amplifier is installed yet.

    Further Update:
Cables pulled through, AUG rewired, PC installed and tested on the road.

Sorted out cabled under the back seat:

After losing one of the battery terminals decided to rewire the AUG:

    Installing the PC

    Back of the trunk:

    Mounts attached:

Now the power supply. Since there was no way of fixing it to the top of the trunk I riverted it to the case:

OMG it's working despite all the filling inside :
