To begin with I will be using the onboard video. I am only going to use a video card if the onboard doesn't work out the way I like it.

Nice Ride! I just bought the same car and I'm looking forward to doing some mods.

Has anyone tried to get an iPod to line in to the factory head unit? I've tried all of the FM mods and they are terrible.

    Thanks

Good choice man! I love everything about my car. Keep an eye on this thread. Its been stagnant for a while, but I just starting getting the audio installed yesterday so the project is moving along again.

From what I understand, only the Satellite ready headunits have an aux in the you can hook an ipod to. If yours didn't come with satellite then you can either find someone selling a 2005 headunit w/ sat or replace it with an aftermarket headunit that has an aux in.
Or skip all that hassle and get yourself a carPC!!

    Update 7/10/05

Finally got some progress on the project!!
My friend thats doing my audio install finally had a chance yesterday to get the rear deck speakers in. He is getting married next weekend so I am putting pressure on him to get more work done before he takes off on his honeymoon. I think he will get the front speakers in soon. Then I just need the amp wired and it will all be up to me for the rest of the work.
I plan to start work on the Xenarc install this coming week to get that sorted out.

I'm not really in Europe... the West Chestinghamshire is a joke from another thread. I am in the US and I did get it from Newegg. If you can get a hold of it for a reasonable cost I think its a great case. Has plenty of room for components and 2 stock fans plus one space available to add another fan, so good ventilation.

Did you fashion the panel with the USB connectors yourself or just cut into a panel that was alread there? Either way, slick install!
