Thanks. The only thing I don't like about the silver bezel is it stands out when looking into the car from the outside, even with the windows tinted.

Yeah, I will be making it look a little better after the rest of the system is in, but I am happy with how it turned out for now.

    Non-car PC update

Today I installed a Short Throw Shifter I got from Altimat's company, http://www.activetuning.com.
Everything went in really smoothly and now my shift throws are about half what they used to be. Had to do something while waiting for the rest of the pc install to happen!!
Also, I placed an ad in the for sale section about trading my silver Xenarc bezel for a black one. Altimat responded that he keeps some on hand so my bezel is in the mail to him and I should get the black one next week.
    Thanks again, Altimat!!

    More work is done

Today I wired the power and video to the headrest monitors. Also got the straps installed that will secure the PC in place.
Wiring is about 95% done. All thats left is installing the power supply for the monitors and the XM box. Hopefully I'll be up and running (and troubleshooting ) in the next couple of days. Have new pics but I'll save those for the completed writeup on my project.

    IT'S IN!!!

My pc is in and running. Music and movies work great. Headrest monitors are up and running. Amp and speakers sound great!!

    Still to do:
Get GPS going (first antenna location did not get a signal)
Get XM going (still making the cable, have to wire power to it)
Try to separate sound up front from sound in back to play different movies on the headrests

Thats about it. I will update with pictures later, and probably start a new thread in the "Finished" section.

Will get some pics up soon. Still in the finishing stages right now.

Got the XM working fine with the antenna on the back deck by the 3rd brake light. I tested the GPS antenna here too and it worked, but now that I ran the wires for it and made it look nice it doesn't get a signal.

Hey, awsome car! I read that you were thinking about Infinity speakers... I have the reference series in my truck now (2 6.5" and 2 6X9"), personally I will always have infinity. I just wish I went with the Kappa series, $50 more per set of speakers and they sound wonderful. Don't get me wrong the reference are great, though the Kappa's can hold more power and last longer, with a better range of sound. And infinty subs are a higher pitched sub, you won't get the lower bass. JL or Kicker will give you a wider range of freq. (I have 2 Kicker CompVR's now).

    Just my 2 cents...
