Very nicely done!! Just a thought, maybe you could paint the whole dash piece the same color, instead of the black frame around the screen. Again, just a thought. Nice idea for the bracket at the back too. Does the screen rattle or move at all now??

thanks, the screen doesn't move, it is fixed whit bracket and a little of glue. This frame visible in photo don't exist now, I've removed because doesn't perfect, now I will made a frame in plastic, whit liquid plastic for a result like an original frame and some color of the rest of car.

What about the radio ? How do you get sound from the PC ? Do you need a car radio ?

I've unmount the original HiFi, I've install a Radio/Tv card cinergy and connect the audio out of the motherboard to an amplifier.
The next step is to add a soundblaster usb audio card whit digital out at 24 bit and this out connect to a PhonixGold Amplifier R5.1 whit 24bit decoder for a true 5.1 sound in my car.
For the steering wheel command I will buy a irda adapter for about 50,00eur and send the infrared signal to a serial interface like Animax for command the RR interface. Vol+ Vol- Track, ecc. now working whit a normal TV remote. :)

:? What is a megane 53? I don't know this model, this panel is fixed whit only 4 screw, 2 there are in the HiFi space and two are bottom the diagnostic connector.
after this screw you must make attention and pull out.

Thanks for your quick responses... What I mean was my plate is an 53 plate eg september 2003 :) Do I need to have a external soundcard ? I have an onboard soundcard. Could I not use that ?

I've an Epia10000 motherboard whit integrated sound card, his sound suck! There isn't bass! Don't sound well. For this I've plan to add a sound blaster, usb for comodity or PCI if you have 1 avalaible. The sound blaster 24bit sound very well!
What sound card / motherboard do u have?
But your car is some to my in photo? Where are you live?
