2005 Tacoma X-Runner(1st post too)

Hey all new to the forum and new to the world of carputer's. I drive a 2005 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner. I have big plans for it and part of it includes an in-car computer. Thank god for this website. I look forward to posting here and abusing the

button.

Here's a picture of the dash I will be working with.

The cd player dimensions are exactly the same dimensions as the Xenarc 10.4" TFT VGA

So the Xenarc will be flush mounted where the CD player used to be.

I will be using an Alpine PXA-H701 to handle the proccessing, and volume control.

The steering wheel controls will be implemented using the PAC SWI-X

For audio components this is what I have planned:
Front components will be the DLS Iridium 8.3
3 way components. It consists of 8" midbass, 3" midrange and 1" tweeters. The speakers will be powered active off the upcoming Zed Audio Leviathan www.zedaudio.com This amp is a beast. 100 watts rms to each tweeter, 100 watts rms to each midrange and 200 watts to each midbass.

The subs will be a pair of Image Dynamics IDMAX 12"

The subs will be powered by the Zed Audio Kronos(see first ZED link for specs) This is a 4 chanel amp that will be bridged to 700 watts rms X 2.

The enclosure will be a custom built Marv enclosure utilizing the back seat area to house the amplifiers as well. It will have dual 1.5 cb ft sealed enclosures.

Only thing I haven't settled upon is the computer itself, which is why I am here.

Let me know what you guys think of the system setup so far.

Nice plans. Very good looking car, did you mod the bumpers?
btw, is the truck a manual?

Cris, the Xrunner comes with the ground effects, and it's also a 6 speed manual. It's got a 4.0 v6 with 245hp/282tq

Hey man, I just recently bought an X-runner and looking for any help in customizing mine. If you have any web sites or any other info that would be usefull, please let me know. So far I love my truck, and have big plans for mine. I know that Magnaflow is coming out with an exhaust system for the X-runner soon. Been a fan of their systems for a while now. Had them on my last two projects, and love it. Anyway, please get back to me.
