Looking really promising Gizak> If possible I'd like to see a pic from the cam with an obstacle behind, so I could see if it's worth the trouble dremeling the keyhole.
Can you send the link to who you bought that camera off of ebay thanks ? Nice install

Nice job man!!... I wish I could fit my Biostar under my seat too... But clearance is a real pain in the arse...
Thanks guys,
lagunatl2k - Here's a link to the ebay store of the person I bought the camera off of on ebay: http://stores.ebay.com/dvoneb-Powerseller-Team
cris - I'll see if I can snap one sometime this week. It's a bit hard to change the habit of looking over your shoulder though! I'm sure it will be much more useful if I ever get around to putting some dark tint in the rear hehe. My keyhole didn't require too much dremeling, and I'm pretty sure I could still put the keyhole back in later if I want...just be careful not to nick the paint!
patrickB - thanks for the honosty =) The original exhaust was pretty puny and ugly, so I bought this one cheap off ebay, it's not great, but it's better then factory. As for my taillights, I like 'em! Some people say it's faded out, but I like the black and chrome look.
fraychild - if you arn't too tall, wedge some nuts and washers under your chair! haha, j/k. There's a small dip in the floor under the chair so I'm lucky. I really didn't want to run more cables all over the place, although I do have to remove the chair to do any hardware work on it.

My mini zippy keyboard fitting:
So, I already had this cool mini zippy keyboard that has a backlit EL glow on it. I use small keyboards on my desks, as I have too many computers cluttering up my work area, so mini-ing anything I could helps! In any case, I ended up buying another for the car. At around 28 bucks from Newegg, you can't go wrong!
Originally, I was going to use my gyration keyboard and mouse (currently used for the HTPC), but it was a slightly too big...and I realy didn't want to tear it apart. The zippy was cheaper, smaller, and just needed a slight modification to make it fit where I wanted - the glove compartment!
Here's what I had to work with:

You can see that I took the case apart to see if I could fit the guts of the board on the side-walls of the glove compartment. Perfect! I just had to dremel off about 5mm on each side. Here you can see it cut off:

Here are the parts where it needs to fit:

After trimming off the sides, I realized I had some roof clearance to take care off (you can see some of this in the pic above) as everytime I closed the glove, it would press the Enter key area hehe. Also did it when I hit bumps! Not cool, quick dremeling fixed that up. After I was sure it was good, I added some industrial strength velcro to the top of the side walls and the bottom of the keyboard:

And wallah! Mission accomplished. It works out pretty great, as the wire is run through the back of the dash with enough slack to pull out if needed - or I can leave it attached to the glove for passangers to type on, as long as their legs arn't too long and in the way. My glove compartment itself is still usable too! Just gotta lift it up like a lid hehe. And the fact that it lights up is not only really cool, but very very helpful when using at night.

Gizak, you've got to post a pic of the screen enclosure!
I'm working on it now hehe. It's proving to be more work than originally anticipated. Hopefully I'll done with it tomorrow...

I basically dismantled the top storage compartment to fit it in there. I removed the springs, gutted the floor and the roof to maximize space, hacked off a part of the front lip, and then fab'd some abs plastic side walls and use the epoxy method of modling it all together. It's currently in a "done" status for right now (although I'm not satisfied), and will probably end up redoing it after the summer...it's just too damn hot here in phoenix to work on the car unless you have an air condition garage, which I unfortunately don't hehe. I took pictures of what I did, just havn't gotten around to uploading them. Nag me later and I'll get them up when I have some time =)
