Well now i've started on molding the new dash piece for my volvo, I figured I would post some pictures

first the hacking of the lilliput casing

that is very nice, but what are you going to do about the buttons?

well I wasnt going to keep them, but I got frustrated with the current setup, so V2 is going to have buttons

you could just relocate the IR dude. or even relocate all thebuttons somehwere discrete.

Very nice work! If you're going to restart, try using straighter lines, as it looks even nicer in the s60's interior (my opinion of course

).

With my xenarc in the same bezel, I soldered some flatcable to the microswitches and let it go down to the penholder. Haven't needed the buttons since anyways, but if I would, I can always reach the cable easily.

yeah thats what i'm doing, ripped it apart and trying to get straighter lines it's just really hard with these damn lilliputs

but your right the volvo dash likes the straight lines
