I need adivice on finishing the dash better, I have used a sander then glazing spot putty, and then paint, but it doesnt seemd to get me a totally acceptable finish.
Thanks
corollas are a very tricky thing to trim with aftermarket screens and headunits. What i might suggest for you is to hard mount your screen itself with brackets, and then shape a piece out of wood or foam to match the contours of the dash and the shape of your screen. If you use the right tools you'll wind up with a much straighter, easier surface to work with. If you're set on using filler putty to mold your screen in, i'd stretch some fleece over the opening of the vent bezel and push the front screen bezel in from the front as far back as you want it to go, then when you've got everything in place, apply resin to the fleece and reinforce appropriately. Trim out the back of the bezel and install your screen. That way you only use a tiny bit of filler and have far less sanding to do. It's an awful lot of process to cram into one post, so if you're redoing it or have questions I'll be happy to help and show you what i did for my corolla. Good luck!

that was done by a pro?!?!?!?!! No offense, but thats hardly the work of a professional..... I'd take it back in a heart beat.... better yet... I wouldnt have even let them install that in my car ..... if you paid someone money to make you a bezel, it should at least look good..... just my 2 cents
