i wasn't gonna say anything....
It does look kinda shotty. If you just had a friend do it or whatever, then don't bother on hurting his feelings, as long as it was free or at cost. However if you went to an audio shop, I would consider asking them to redo that.
If you are happy with it, then good for you, and nevermind. Just thought you might want to get it done nicely...

Need to make something? Here are a few ideas.
Thats the reason I said done by a "pro" didnt pay much for it... looks better than what I had done.... considersing the time I have and money I want to pay someone to do it... its not too bad...
But I am glad other ppl think the same... its not the best job....just better than what I had done...
I was also ****ed at the guy because he opened the screen in the back and did it.... which ended up cutting the ribbon cable for the usb...he then fixed that... but still having the screen open in the back ... I dont really like it....
I was thinking about...taking it back but he takes tooo long to do anything so Id rather not bother....
Off topic I know but I too have a Corolla and will be installing a 7" + a indash single DIN pc into my car.
Lilliput in-dash car PC WTPC1000
I'm still thinking of the best way to fab the screen... looks like a scary task but i'll cross that bridge when I get there!
I'm still trying to gather as much information as I can before I install so I don't make a mess up.
my question is... I see you have your headunit mounted in one of the openings in the dash. How difficult was it to install it there? I had a look in my car and there doens't look like there's much space to install a headunit there. Did you have to fabricate that space aswell? Is it at all possible to keep the flap so It can close so you don't see the unit?
Thanks
Jay Tu - did you use your stock trim/bezel or did you order another one from toyota - if so how much was that part? I have been looking for it but can't find a part number.

stock,
My biggest mistake was to try saving $50.0 on a screen...
I ended up buying a screen that was bigger than the dash...
If i had bought the lilliput, it would have been a much easier job and prolly would have turned out much much nicer also....
So if anyone wants my fab-edscreen I will sell it, but they would also have to give me the stock bezel and another TS...
