ok, what ideas do you have, i didnt care to make it recessed or not, just wanted it to fit properly, without cutting out the dash, thats the best way i could come up with. I could have done it on the outside but i didnt want it sticking out.
Also if i cut the top and bottom part of the vent' to make the screen fit it still is a little taller so i'd have to cut the top or bottom of the dash to make it fit.
thanks for the input. and keep it flowing.
hmmm trim the bezel down if u have to id do it recessed it looks cooler check out mista altimats how to sticky on recessed

But that wont work for my setup. I have to work with the space I have, dont want to do any further cutting in the dash....
any other feedback would be great...
thanks
Heres what it looks like now, still going to sand and fill some, then primer and paint, and comments/ideas are welcome
thanks
keep sanding and filling. Use a lightweight glaze once you almost done to get rid of any pin holes. think of the first primer layers as a filler. Wetsand it down with 600-800grit
keep up the good work. It is really comming along. Use a block sander or attach the sand paper to something flat so you get all of your lines nice and straight
