    Kawasaki ZZR + linux

I'm studying the way to make a port of this project on my bike.

you can see here Porsche Gemballa

The features will be the same except video player which is really not a good idea and not even usefull.
I have the idea to use a very small LCD display filtered through a fresnel lens to enlarge displayed informations on the windshield.

I will probably set the lcd horizontally to not allowing it to be disturbing vision.
Fortunately the windshield is dark enough to allow displaying even on sun shiny days.

Picture here doesn't show the real feel about the room remaining but you can believe it there's enough space to place a small lcd.
Ok it'll be never as comfortable as a wide 10,4" screen but should be at least fun to have something different than a boring palm.

Now the room in the back part of the bike is wide enough to allow inserting a nano-itx motherboard with no effort. Looks like this space has been previewed for a nano-itx.

And as you can see the power source is not that far...

Yes headphones already included in the helmet...or any bluetooth headphones should do the work.
The main problem to solve is more the commands part.

For the helmet i found this http://www.casques-kiwi.com/collecti...ion=BLUE&id=81
sorry as i didn't found an English version but google translator should do the job

for now i'm just searching the components i need, motherboard is not a problem, the other things are more hard to find but in the end it should be really fun. The software part is already existing so no need for further development, maybe a little adaptation because this version will be without touch screen.

Whoa, dude. That's an awesome idea. However, keep it safe... Bikes are dangerous enough as it is already.
