Not to be a nitpicker or anything but you can easily see the crease where the two plastics were joined.

Yeah, I thought it would be covered up by the texture, and I used the last of my texture spray on it. I'll probably re-do it later.

    Good work anyhow....

If you want to make the texture look more OEM try lightly sanding the texture with 1000 grit. it will give it less of gritty feel and more of a flat look. I found out the hard way that a little texture goes a long way

Awsome looking car, my first car was a T/A, had it for five years, *snif* miss that car.

anyway, sorry about your mobo, I did not know that foam was conductive either. If you want to try to get that line out, check out evercoats top-coat filler the stuff is awsome and so easy to sand.

good luck on the rest of your project!

How easy was it to relocate your AC controls? I guess you do not change the settings often.

Alti- I'll work on that as soon as I get sime more SEM texture spray. I have a gallon of Marson's Platinum filler I use for my car audio fab jobs. I'll use that to fill it in. I was trying to go 100% ABS construction, as I didn't want to introduce the possibility of any cracking.
Odyssey- It took me about three hours using a soldering iron, some solder, and some heat shrink tubing to extend the 12 or 13 wires. There is also a cable, and a vacuum line attached to the controls that I had to re-route. Both of them came from the passenger side, so I just moved them back over inside the dash. I don't think that I would have been able to move the controls anywhere else, since that would involve extending them as well. Here's a pic:

Talked to an RMA person, and I should be recieving a new motherboard next week. So, i'll finally be able to get this project finished! Sep. 5th, I have to drive to Georgia for business. Hopefully by then i'll have most of any kinks that show up after installation of the MB ironed out. The trip will be the system's first big test. Can't wait 'till I get the parts so I can start working on it again!

Im going to assault the damn UPS driver if I don't get my mobo here soon. According to my tracking # the box is in the truck for delivery. I can't wait. The company shipped it via UPS ground instead of FedEx Express Saver (3 days). They originally shipped it to me using it, and I RMA'ed it to them using it. dammit. I hope it works. I'll post another update later tonight.
