2005 Altima (black) laptop install + PSP integration

I'm new here. I've been interested in car pcs for quite a long time, but haven't really had a decent car to work with. I recently bought a new vehicle and so I am now in the beginning stages of my car pc. For now, I'm using an IBM ThinkPad 600e running windows xp and frodoplayer. I'm wanting to do a lot of things with this car pc, including media functions and war driving. I took a couple of photos to show you what I have to work with. If you have any ideas, please pass them along.
My psp perfectly fits in the storage compartment, however I'd like to integrate a touchscreen lcd there.

The machine I'm working with... I plan on placing it under the seat or possibly in the trunk space. I have a docking station, so I would simply leave the docking station in the vehicle and take the laptop if I needed it for anything.

As you can see, there is yet another compartment in the altima below the air conditioner controls. I'd like to either integrate a psp docking station there or setup a small keyboard to pop out when the compartment is opened.

I'd like to integrate a wireless access point into the car pc setup for use with psp multiplayer and also for network related functions. On my laptop, I currently have a netgear ma521 802.11b nic. It's nice, but it doesn't have the options that I really want for wardriving. Yesterday, I ordered a Senao wireless card from WLANparts.com.

It has dual MMCX connections for external antennas. I purchased the card as part of a kit, so it comes with an external antenna. It's a prism 2 based chipset so it's perfect for wardriving, as it has linux compatability.

That's all I have for now. I'll definitely keep you guys updated with photos and content. I'd appreciate any feedback or ideas. I love this forum, by the way.

Where do you live that your Alti has a Passenger Airbag light? And what are those little black things in your air vents?
Anyway, check the link in my sig, I am working with an 05 Altima too. I am replacing the headunit with a touchscreen and linking to 2 headrest monitors. Will be installing over the next few weeks.
    Good luck with your project.

I live in Texas. The airbag off light turns on if there isn't at least 60 lbs in the front passenger seat. Yes, the black things are air fresheners. I've seen the work you've done on your altima. It's inspiring. Good luck with your's also! Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll have some more content soon.

All "2005 1/2" (second release) Altima's have the weight-sensitive Passenger Airbag. The "2005" Altima (initial release) does not have this feature. I know this because I work on Nissan grounds.

    Your carputer really rocks!!!
