    also, not to be picky but you should of hidden your amps under the raised floor too... and cover the floor in the same color carpet...

    other then that its a pretty good install...
    Yes it has the Toyota logo
    There is not enough airflow to hide them.
    The carpet came from the same roll and was supposed to be the same color so I am dying it to match.

    Yes it works. No it does not hurt anything and I have one to put in my wife's Xb. I will measure the resistance and post it here.

    nice install. I like how you hid the PC where the spare goes, i don't think i could do that tho. As soon as id take it out i'd get a flat >_<;

    I'm going to try to put my PC under the passenger seat and maybe carpet the case over so it kind of hides it. I think it will get better ventilation there anyhow.

    How do you like that screen? Not a bad price for an 8" touch screen.

    Question about the xB:

    is it fast enough for you? I hear the engine is kinda tiny for such a "large" car. Just curious, cuz the tC is so much lighter and with larger engine?

    My matrix has 130hp and it weighs a friggen ton, but still has ample power.

    it's plenty fast for me. I can get on the highways and do 80mph no prob, even 90. At 80mph it does about 3100~ RPM (not broken in yet). It's definitely not a "sportscar" Depends on what you want. I would love to have a fast car, but can't afford the car, the insurance, or the gas. And i love the xB and the interior room, and the community of people. Also, it's very mod-friendly

    I have the 5-speed version, and the axle ratio is somewhat higher. At 80mph, I'm running 4000 rpm. That accounts for the fuel economy difference; the automatic gets a few miles per gallon better. But the stick version is a blast to drive and, with a bit wider tires and an anti-sway bar, it corners great.

    If I have a complaint, it's that I can only go about 400 miles of a trip before my legs start to cramp. That's because the seats are good, but only good -- not great.

    Still, it's a terrific little car. In less than two years, I've put 45,000 miles on it, with no expenses other than normal maintenance. I haul a 4'x8' open trailer easily.

    The new ones moved the horsepower from 103 to 158, and it makes a huge difference in responsiveness, but it knocks the fuel economy down a good deal. Nonetheless, it's a really good car for surprisingly little money.

    Didn't mean to hijack your thread, Fixer, so I'll turn it back over to you.

    If just enough is really good, then too much ought to be perfect.
