Step away? Maybe. But why run? How could a broken radiator/ac or other pipe cause an explosion strong enough that it would penetrate the hood and manage to harm you? It's just a small combustion engine, not a 500 ton railroad steam engine.

ya thats one small part of it, that and for work, and cause i got sick of using a laptop in my cars, but i'm not gona be playing the newest games or rendering and editing video, and my setup should handle anything else. sorry i upset you little guy.
no it isnt legal. your headlight is not secure and pointing in the right direction which can dazzle other drivers and cause you to miss things (like more trees).
also, more inportantly - the front of that van is now more of a lethal weapon than ever. Can you imagine what would happen if you hit somone with that? Especially a small kid who's head would be level with all that sharp metal? Even at 10mph you van is now a seriously lethal weapon. At very least get your headlight mounted right and check the alignment on a wall and then bend back any sharp corners and tape over them and any gaps cuasing blunt edges.
Driving wound with that is irresponsible and I am suprised and dissapointed that i am the 1st person to point this out!
Cars are dangerous enough, nevermind ones with even more dangerous front ends and headlights that can cause other motorists to have accidents.
I also hope you replaced the bald tyres.
oh and as for your wipre - i hope that works adequately too. having decent wipers is a legal requirement in the UK - and quite rightly so.
