wow, that really is one fuctup van ! at least it won't be attractive to thieves! about the sound card, just get a pci riser/bender adapter to set it in their sideways.

ya i was thinking about a 90 degreen riser but i still dont think theres room. it will either hit the side of the case, or the heatsink. and block all other pci slots. the sound card is good sized.

Man that is going to be a sweet install. The computer will probably be worth more than the entire car

Why are you even bothering with a car computer.

Fix the front end of your van. It's despicable.

Hit up the junkyard and make friends with someone who is mechanically inclined.

Once you have a vehicle that comes close to resembling a respectable vehicle, then you can look into car computers.

dude, i paid $300 for that van, before it was damaged! its just to mess around with now, more like experiment with, not like i cant take this stuff out when i get a nice car again.

i'm not spending sht on this thing, except for the basics, fluids n whatnot. i could fix it if i wanted but the frame has light damage in the front. did i mentions it has like 230k on the odometer?

ya its street legal, i duct taped some headlight in that hole, and a turn signal too. me and my friend beat the hood back to shape. kinda.

If that van was in the UK it would have been written off and allowed NOWHERE near a road again.

I don't think I'd be happy driving something like that ...

and it took 3 days and 3 new wheels for my angle grinder to make room for the front wheel to turn again.

belive it or not, i hit the tree going 30mph (lots of snow + bald tires + RWD + stupidity) me and my friend jumped out, ran 100 feet away, when it didnt blow up, i drove it away.
