    2003 Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon

    Hi all,

Well, I've got a Lilliput, the OPUS 120W power supply, a VIA EPIA SP1300 motherboard and a bunch of other gizmos to boot.

I've started describing the process I've gone through here:

    http://wrxputer.blogspot.com/

    and will add pics soon.

So far so good. Comments welcome ...

    A+,

    Alex.

any reason to believe why hope is on the way for having GPS on the Mac?

I'd love to know what's on the horizon, if anything. I asked the folks who make Route 66 if they had anything with voice assist and they replied simply "no". No plans, no product, no nothing. And do think that the OS already has support for this stuff built-in ... sigh.

Also, I've added a bunch of pics of the installation process of my PC to my blog. Things are starting to take shape ...

Hey, read through your blog... I have a '05 Wagon myself, so we need to start relaying emails... I pulled my full system from an xB about 4 weeks ago and now I have to start migrating the move. Last night I built a tray to replace the tray between the false floor and the spare... the '05s have a doughnut (full diameter, but skinny), but the spare space is full size, so I am mounting my full cpu, hd, etc...

my pointers to you... ditch the delorme software... iGuidance kicks the living crap out of anything that Delorme makes... and the other thing to point out is to look into getting a cable for the XMDirect units instead of wasting time with the XMPCR... same functionality and now there is a handful of software that will run it...

keep up the good work, look for posts from me before too long... (digital camera is in Amsterdam at the moment)

I've had a hell of a time making this one thing permanent ... it seems as though I can't quite find the right flavor of epoxy to do the job and have had to re-glue it three times now! I'm also thinking of adding a compact flash card reader and a mini jack input. We'll see ...

I just added a DVD r/w but find myself having more than a few issues with this ... hope to get it settled soon.

In the meanwhile, most everthing is now camouflaged and my car is looking "normal" again, meaning there aren't wires everywhere anymore. So it's coming along ... I recently added the gyration keybd/mouse and also the mickeysoft windows media remote (I've hidden the receiver in the slot where the cigarette butt holder normally sits.)
