I'm going with the 700M/SP-719, and i installed it yesterday night (till ike 11PM) so it's in, and working. Now i need to fix up the pc for it, and stick that in the back... fixed the Amp for the sub, and now my biggest concern is to hide the headunit. and remote mount the facveplate...Originally Posted by DK888

Yet another updatem, but now with PICS!!!! YAYY!!! oh, and a MOVIE...
So here we go. I managed to put the In-dash monitor into the dash, but had difficulties. I tore apart the whole dash, to look for a place for the headunit, b/c i want to remote mount the faceplate. More on thet later...

The monitor has no signal yet, b/c the carpc is not in yet. I'll try to put it in tomorrow. Actually today (Sunday) I'll try to run it off of the Opus, but if that fails, i'll use an inverter. So on to the headunit hiding.

This is where i'm going to mount the unit, b/c on the other side whare the glove box is, it won't fit. In the back it has th fans for the AC and the heating.
There is just enought plce to put this headunit w/ the wiring...
Thankfully i have a small sunvisor over the mirror, that i just recently got aware of after like 3 months of owning the car. It's a nice touch and helps if the sun it in the middle. Now this is ehat i'm going to use to place the faceplat to...

Now this is what you can see @ nite of the motorized in dash. It's pretty visible. I'm trying to get some dough together soon so i can tint the car. And probably next time, say when i'll add a back-up cam to the setup, and have to tear apart the dash again, i'll do the mods' so it won't be
