Ahh, I was thinking you were getting a different part. In the future, if you need a part, let me know. I was quoted from a dealership on a GTO forum for that exact part, at 84.61+ 9.95 shipping. They claim to offer the lowest prices, and I guess it's true!

So when does the modding begin?

    I have bad news.

I put my PC together today, but it doesn't work. I am using the onboard video and I am not getting any signal to my monitor. There is no speaker in my case, and I believe no speaker on the motherboard, so I haven't heard a single beep out of it. I don't know if it won't ever have beeps, or if I just have a faulty motherboard.

I tried numerous things, one being taking out everything except the powersupply and processor. It should have beeped, requesting memory, but it didn't. I even tried a different power supply, and no go. I guess I will be calling NewEgg for a RMA.

get a speaker hooked upto it, that will help you find out what it is, is the ram seated in properly? nothing is plugged in wrong way around? ie. ide cables.

All IDE Cables were removed, I only had the CPU, RAM and monitor plugged in, and nothin. I'll grab a speaker from another pc, I've got 2 sitting here. Who knows why I didn't try that earlier.

Memory problem! Thanks to hakhawk for advising me to put a speaker in from another computer. WHY didn't I do that?

I guess I'll be buying some and seeing if it's the memory itself, or the DIMM slots.

    *** EDIT ***

Bought some RAM, it works. Windows is installing...
